The latest in pet retrieval is microchipping. Microchipping is a tiny device which is is implanted with a needle; so the process is much like
getting an injection. A scanner can detect these chips; humane societies and animal shelters across the country also have scanners. A national
registry permits the return of microchipped pets throughout the United States and Canada. We recommend and use it on all my puppies free of
charge. You will call the Avid company (1-800-336-2843) and replace my name as the owner of the puppy to you the new owner. Using this
service will allow you to be contacted by shelters or veterinary clinics should your puppy be lost or stolen. You contact Avid and your vet clinic
if your puppy has been lost or stolen.
